ABOUT US

Formerly known as "Pet Sitting by Macayla," Pawsitive Impact Pet Care Inc. was founded by Macayla Goulet in 2024. Earlier that year in January, Macayla began caring for local friends' pets as a hobby. By October 2024, the small endeavor blossomed into a thriving business, proudly serving over 70 families throughout 10+ districts and expanding to a dedicated team of four. We are now a registered and insured company, committed to providing exceptional pet care. Our team holds certifications in pet first aid and CPR, ensuring that your fur babies are in safe hands. At Pawsitive Impact, our top priority is making a positive difference in the lives of furry friends and their families by easing the stress of finding a reliable caretaker.

MEET THE TEAM

Macayla Goulet

Founder | Swansea, MA
Macayla is a 25-year-old entrepreneur and travel lover with a lifelong passion for business. From selling friendship bracelets as a kid to exploring various ventures like online coaching and podcasting, she has always pursued new opportunites to connect & create. Now, she has found her true niche in the pet care community, where she can combine her love for animals with her entrepreneurial spirit. Having two pups of her own, Macayla has a hands-on understanding of the joys and challenges of pet ownership. She grew up surrounded by animals, with cats as part of her childhood and frequent visits to the zoo and local farms, fostering a deep love and respect for all. She is eternally grateful for the love and support from her family, friends, and community that has helped her to grow into the business owner she is today!

Shannon DeGrazia

Team Member | Fall River, MA
Shannon brings over 10 years of experience in customer relations as a waitress and bartender, making her a natural fit for connecting with both pets and their owners. Nurturing her own diabetic cat, James, she specializes in compassionately tending to the needs of felines, but provides love to all pets. She has found her work with us to be therapeutic, and her love for animals shines through in everything she does!

Jussara Sequeira

Team Member | Fall River, MA
Jussara is a trilingual team member who excels in customer relations through her full-time job. Although she is newer to the world of animal care, she is a proud dog mom who discovered her love for others' pets by frequently taking her pup, Mozart, to the dog park. She's excited to expand her knowledge and skills in pet care for all animals, and her enthusiasm for learning makes her a wonderful addition to our team!

Eliza Viñas

Team Member | Providence, RI
Eliza is a passionate Latina entrepreneur who, in addtion to being an asset to our team, pursues the growth of her content creation business. She specializes in working with reactive dogs, drawing from her personal experience training her own beloved German Shepherd, Ruby. Her understanding of animal behavior allows her to foster positive relationships with all pets in meaningful ways!

OUR SERVICES

At Pawsitive Impact, we offer two in-home care options that provide essential services for your pets; Check-In Visits and Overnight Stays.
Check-In Visits include (as needed)
• feeding and medicating• walking dogs or letting them outside• engaging in playtime and cuddles• waste clean-up
Overnight Stays include
Essential Care • morning and evening routines• nightly house and pet sitting• basic household duties such as collecting mail, taking out trash, vacuuming, and caring for plants (as needed)
Premium Care• morning and evening routines • 45 minute afternoon visit• nightly house and pet sitting• basic household duties such as collecting mail, taking out trash, vacuuming, and caring for plants (as needed)

OUR RATES

Our carefully curated rates reflect our dedication to providing high-quality pet care as a registered, insured, and pet first aid/CPR certified company. We designed these rates with the following considerations in mind to help us maintain exceptional care while supporting the growth of our business. Our pricing structure for Check-In Visits takes into account the following factors.
(1) Travel Duration We consider the amount of time it requires a team member to travel to your home.
(2) Length of Visit The preferred duration of care directly impacts how we set your personalized rates.
(3) Day and Time Pricing is adjusted for visits that occur during late night hours, weekends, and holidays.
Our pricing structure for Overnight Stays takes into account the following factors.
(1) Type of Care The level of support required affects pricing to ensure your pet receives the attention they need.
(2) Number of Animals Pricing varies depending on how many animals are being cared for at the time of the stay.
(3) Team Member Relocation Adjustments a team member makes to their routine for the duration of the stay is considered.

Our Check-In Visit rates are structured with a tiered approach based on the distance from a team member's location.

Overnight Stays

OPTION 1: ESSENTIAL CARE
1-2 pets $75/night
3-4 pets $85/night
5-6 pets $95/night
This service is recommended for animals who are comfortable and familiar with being on their own during the daytime. The care provided will begin at the time of need on the first day and will end in the morning of the final day. Additional afternoon/evening care on the final day wil be scheduled separately with our standard Check-In Visit rates.
OPTION 2: PREMIUM CARE
1-2 pets $90/night
3-4 pets $100/night
5-6 pets $110/night
This service is recommended for animals that require extra attention during the daytime, such as additional walks, playtime, or medication administration. The care provided will begin at the time of need on the first day and will end in the afternoon or evening of the final day.
The listed Overnight Stay rates apply to stays of up to 6 nights. For stays exceeding 6 nights, an additional fee will apply, with a maximum stay limit of 9 nights. ADDITIONAL FEES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING Extended Stays: $10 extra per nightHolidays: $15 extra

!NEW! Wedding Day Chaperoning

Introducing our specialized service; Wedding Day Chaperoning! This is the ideal solution for including your fur babies in your memorable day. Whether it be for the entire event or preferred parts of it, we provide all necessary transportation, and the personalized attention needed. Our top priority is to ensure your pet is safe, comfortable, and has an experience that is just as perfect as yours!
1 Chaperone $55/hour
2 Chaperones $95/hour

OUR POLICIES

Health & Safety
We require that all pets be up to date on their rabies vaccinations and any other necessary shots. This helps protect everyone involved and ensures that our team members can provide the highest level of care with comfortability and confidence.
Meet & Greets
We are committed to ensuring the well-being of the pets, their owners, and our team. Before booking any appointments, we require complimentary meet and greet sessions to ensure a good fit between our caregivers and your furry family members. This allows us to establish a connection, discuss your pet’s needs, and answer any questions you may have.
Bookings
We aim to provide the best care for your pets while ensuring a smooth booking process. We require at least 48 hours' notice before scheduling any appointments. Down-payments include 25% for Overnight Stays and $75 for Wedding Day Chaperoning, both due at the time of confirmation to secure your reservation. This helps us manage our services effectively and guarantees your booking.
Overnight Stays
We prioritize a safe and nurturing environment for all. We kindly ask that your home be clean, well-maintained, and free of clutter. This includes vacuumed floors, clean surfaces, and fresh bedding. We reserve the right to decline service if your home does not meet our cleanliness standards, as our caretakers need to feel comfortable in the space to provide the highest level of care.
Payment
We strive to make monetary transactions as seamless and stress-free as possible. Invoices will be issued via Stripe where all major credit/debit cards are accepted. For single Check-In Visits, payment is due on the day of. If multiple visits occur within the same week, payment is due on the day of the last visit. The remaining balance for Overnight Stays is due on the final day of the stay, and the day after the event for Wedding Day Chaperoning. For every day a payment is late, an extra $5 will be added to the total.
Cancellations
We understand that your plans can change. For Overnight Stays and Wedding Day Chaperoning, please note that the downpayment is nonrefundable within 30 days of the reservation. For Check-In Visits, a $10 fee will apply for any cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. We appreciate your understanding, as these policies help us maintain the quality of care for all our clients.
Media Usage
We reserve the right to capture photos and videos in and around your home that showcase the care and attention your pets receive, to promote the services we provide. Please rest assured that we respect your family's privacy and hold it in the highest regard. Personal details will remain confidential and any private information within your home will not be shown.
